Weekly Photography Challenge: Future

The Roman Forum, Rome, Italy

This weeks photo theme was “Future” – a challenge to represent the potential of things to come. My choice might seem strange for this week’s photography challenge, but it represents the future for me because I want to travel more and see more of the Ancient and Classical world (being an archaeology graduate and all). Here’s mine:

The Roman Forum, Rome, Italy
Part of the Roman Forum in Rome, Italy.  Taken in September 2014.

This also gives me an opportunity to mention the full quote that the tagline of my blog came from: “The past is history, and the future, a mystery, but today… is a gift.  That is why it is called the present.”  From Grand Master Oogway, in the film Kung-Fu Panda.

I am a twentysomething travel, photography and beauty blogger who occasionally writes about other topics. Within travel, I tend to write mostly about Europe because all the other travel bloggers seem to write about South East Asia. As a writer, I have written articles that are published in Offbeat Bride and on Buzzfeed, and as a photographer, I have taken photographs that are published in local and national news outlets in the UK. I have a blog at www.delightandinspire.com
